I hope you've all gone out to see Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland film. It's amazing, (even better in 3D, if you get the chance) not only the cast, Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska, and Helen Bonham Carter, but even better were the costumes designed by Colleen Atwood! I just could not get over the luxury and extravagance of Alice's red dress or the innocent beauty of her blue ones. I gazed at them in awe, drooling over each ruffle of lace,every pleat of tool, and all the meticulous details of each and every characters costumes, from the buttons of the rabbit's waistcoat to the queens corset. Everything was beautiful and completely added to the out-of-this-world, over the top, fairytale effect.
