I fucking love sweaters. They are cute, comfy with out looking sloppy, and so easy to wear. Every fall/winter I haul in a new crop of knits to feed my addiction and this year I'm really looking for ones that have an unexpected element to them. Something a little unconventional you might not think of looking for in a sweater. And of course I'll still be picking out a few classic cables along with some heavy knits and fisherman-style jumpers, sans collar. So here are some of my favorite pics for this season.
This is more of a sweatshirt so it's really good for if you're just chilling out. The sequin hearts make it seam like you still give shit about what you look like with out you having to try at all. It goes great with leggings or jeans or just some simple grey sweatpants.
I could see with going with some great earrings or just a simple necklace with plain pants or jeans. I really love the color, blue is a great color on people it really lights up your face and makes you look fresh.
OK, so another confession, I'm also kind of obsessed with peacocks. I love birds and animals on clothes as long as it's done right and this piece is right on target. The sequins add so much and look fantastic against the solid background. TIP: If your going to wear sequins, gems, rhinestones, etc. with a daytime look make sure the rest of it is pretty understated cause you want that piece to me the center of the outfit and you don't want to look overdone.
This short-sleeved sweater is great for a fancier occasion and doesn't really need any accessories, it speaks for it's self. This would look great with a black or metallic skirt or black skinny jeans if you wanted to dress it down.
Again, this one has got some shine to it so you really don't need to wear it with much else besides some comfortable pants and some earrings.
Ah! This is so cute and possible my favorite out of all of them. The pastel elephants are just so fucking adorable I might just wear thins every day. Keeping with the pale palette white skinny jeans would go great with this or even some cuffed boyfriend jeans.
