✿Trend to Try: Boyfriend Jeans✿

Just a quick disclaimer before we get the ball rolling, I used to hate boyfriend jeans. I know they've been around for a while now and I've never done a post on them before because I never got that into them. I thought they were just ugly baggy pants that were going to make me look fat. Not true. It's taken me a while to come around and I'm not sure what changed my mind but I now see boyfriend jeans as the chic comfortable option when dressing casual but still wanting to look good. They can be dressed up or down, and don't feel like you can't wear bf jeans if your curvier, this video is great at showing how you can make bf jeans work for your body type.

Now just a few basic guidelines that apply to almost all these looks:
✿Since bf jeans are slouchy it's good to pair them with something more structured so you don't look like a total slob.
✿ If you are a bit self conscious about your curves wearing heels with your bf jeans will give you that extra lift and make you appear more streamlined.
✿ Let the type of jean set the tone for the outfit. ( light=casual, dark= polished, etc.)

Now I know this look goes against what I said earlier about wearing bf jeans with something structured

but what makes this outfit is that the accessories tie everything together, also tucking the shirt in at the
front and making the cuff on your jeans a little thicker and wearing ones in a dark wash will make them
seem less slouchy
