Packing for a weekend trip can be tricky to do, you may have the urge to overpack by bringing every little "just in case" item with you probably none of which you will actually use. Or you might just throw some things in a bag and find yourself ill prepared.
To strike just the right balance take a few minutes and think about where you are going. Take into account the climate and the weather, what will you be doing? Make sure to think about any "special" activities that require specific things. Will you be going out in the evening? Meeting up with lots of people?
When choosing which clothes to bring pick pieces that can mix and match to create a few different looks with only 3 or 4 pieces and 1 pair of shoes and 1 hand bag to go with all your outfits. Stick to simple classic accessories and one jacket or coat. Try to pack a make up palettes that include a blush and a couple of eye shadows, one lip color, and mascara.
